Monochrome trend

I already said that I will no longer adopt micro trends in my NewYear's Resolution post and I wouldn't break that promise... yet :)
However I find it stupid to say that now, during January and February you "should" adopt this monochrome trend, in the most boring months of the year - all the holidays already passed and now we are stuck only with the cold and the gray of the cities...
I crave for color: red, yellow, light blue, not white and black stripes or Houndstooth. :(

However, I noticed in my closet some items that might do the job without having to go shopping - which I honestly don't want to.

So, the "shopping from my own closet procedure starts" digging in the back of my closet for clothes that I haven't worn for almost 3 years but did not throw out and this is what I found:

This dress has some leather details around the neck and waist

This picture doesn't do this shirt justice!
It is really feminine with a small belt around the waist.

Goes great with a shirt and a leather skirt

This is a more casual dress,
but it can work for the office as well, if worn with a cardigan and low heel boots
