Happiness is such a relative feeling. When are you happy? What makes you happy? What is happiness? When do you stop wanting more? Do we ever stop looking?
We, as a family, are still looking for happiness. Don't get me wrong, we were never unhappy or miserable here in our current location or at our current job. Both Seattle area and the company have been good to us. The people and the city are truly wonderful.
However there are untouchable things that matter more: like feeling important and working at something big and challenging in your workspace.
In big corporations things move differently: slower, smaller and safer changes, so we missed the fast pace of things.
Would you risk everything even if nothing is really, truly broken? Would you follow your dreams and passion just because at some other place you "might" find what you feel it's missing?
Well... we did.
We, after only 6 months here, are packing everything and moving to California.
Stressful? Yes.
Risky? Could be.
Worth it? Definitely!
So, grateful as we are, this will be our last week here.
We are leaving behind friends, a lovely apartment that we called home in these few months, the fresh and cool air of Seattle, for the unknown of California.
Wish us good luck, because we need the good positive energy to start all over again.
Kisses!
